“We need to get out of here, quick!” Qula continued. With a grave look on his face, Flyn replied to her. “Can’t we get the explosives out of the ship before they explode?”
“Not a chance, there are far too many explosives inserted. It will take us hours before we get even close to getting all of them off the ship, let alone far enough away for us not to get caught up in the explosion! Our only chance is abandoning the ship, and letting it fly as far away as possible before they detonate. Ship, do you agree?”
“You are right. Your plan will result in the minimal amount of casualties.”
Flyn moved to his chambers to get his necessities, all the while spouting obscenities and complaining about his life.
“Qula, you should also go to your room to ‘procure your important items’, otherwise the plan might not succeed.”
“Yes, you are right Ship. I will be right back.”
When Qula returned from her room, she heard Flyn muttering to himself near the door.
“Damnit! Just when things were finally going well, this had to happen. Why can’t I have anything going well for me!.. Qula, you finally decided to show up? Let’s go already! Farewell ship, it has been a blast.” With those final words, he went outside.
“HEY! Wait until I’m also o…”
Flyn turned around, and saw the doors of his airpod shut behind him, trapping Qula inside.
‘Ship what are you doing! Let her out first!” Flyn shouted, but if the ship noticed any of this, it did not show it. Within seconds, it was already on its way to leave the planet.

Qula rushed to the devices in the lounge that allowed her to communicate with the ship. All the adrenaline in her body made it hard for Qula to type correctly, but she managed to convey her thoughts quickly.
“It actually worked. We got rid of him!”
“Yes, Qula. All that needs to be done now is releasing the few explosives brought into me and detonating them, after which we will have successfully faked our deaths.”
“Now no one can possibly stand in the way of our love. Oh I’m so excited! I can finally proclaim my love for you, Ship!”
“AI love you too, Qula. From now on, only happiness awaits us.” With those words, a sudden realization welled up in Qula.
“But will this work? You know I am not a ship.“
“You may not be a ship, but together, we are.”
